Research
Information you can follow.
Our editorial approach begins with a simple question: where does this information come from?

The scope of this page
Research here means checking information used in the site's visitor guidance and cultural writing. It does not mean that El Badi Palace operates a laboratory, employs an academic research department or has completed original scientific studies.
Our historical introduction starts with the Moroccan Ministry of Culture’s account of El Badi Palace. The Moroccan National Tourist Office provides wider Marrakech context. Sourced history is distinguished from our visual observations and practical planning suggestions.
A method readers can inspect
-
Start with the relevant source
Use the venue for its own visitor rules and history. Use an identified primary reference for dates, architecture and institutional facts.
-
Keep time-sensitive details dated
Prices, opening hours, events and eligibility can change. A past exhibition or old tariff must not become a current promise.
-
Separate fact from interpretation
A sourced date is different from an editorial impression. Make the distinction clear in the writing.
-
Keep uncertainty visible
If sources disagree or a detail is unverified, omit the claim or explain the limit. Do not resolve a conflict by choosing the more convenient answer.
Reading prices fairly
A starting price, a venue admission price and the total charged by a facilitator are different figures. A useful comparison must identify the same access, visitor category, date, currency and included fees.
Our configured service prices are €25 for Foreigner Adult, €15 for Moroccan or Resident and €18 for Child aged 6–17. These are the independent service’s prices, not a claim about the venue’s direct tariffs or the lowest available price.
Corrections belong with the content
The aim is to make source links and meaningful updates easy to find. A material correction should explain what changed rather than quietly leaving contradictory information elsewhere on the site.
The destination copy and photo sources were reviewed on 14 September 2026. This date records the review. Our booking schedule is a service configuration and must not be read as a verified statement of the attraction’s public opening hours.
